The Lavender Vault is a private, purpose-built BDSM session studio near Pittsburgh, PA — designed, curated, and maintained exclusively by Mistress Ashley B Hawthorn. Draped in deep lavenders and rich purples, candlelight flickers against dark walls while a single chandelier throws just enough gold to make everything feel deliberate. The décor is minimal by intention. Nothing here competes with what happens here. The focus is the experience — and the experience is everything.

This is where traditional BDSM sessions in Pittsburgh come to life. Immersive enough to pull you fully out of the ordinary world. Intimate enough that every moment feels personal. Equipped to take you exactly as far as you are ready to go — and perhaps a little further.

The Lavender Vault is divided into three distinct spaces, each with its own atmosphere, its own purpose, and its own particular quality of anticipation. You will know the difference the moment you step into each one.

The Main Studio

This is where it begins.

Step through the door and the shift is immediate. The light drops, the air changes, and the outside world falls completely away. A dark purple couch anchors one wall, a piece of furniture with a quiet history. It unfolds into a futon, and more than a few subs have found themselves strapped firmly to it before the session was over. Candles flicker at low light throughout the room. A single chandelier overhead casts a warm gold that makes the purples deeper and the shadows richer.

The main studio is the heart of The Lavender Vault, the space where most Pittsburgh BDSM sessions begin and many end. It is intimate without being small, equipped without being clinical. Everything in this room has a purpose, and Mistress Ashley knows exactly what that purpose is.

The Locker Room

Not every part of The Lavender Vault is candlelit and purple.

The Locker sits at the back of the studio, and when you step into it, everything changes. The temperature drops. The aesthetic strips bare. Where the main studio is warm and deliberate, The Locker is cold and utilitarian. Industrial and vintage in feel, a space that makes no effort to comfort you and has no interest in doing so. It feels exactly like what it is: a place where things get serious.

The Locker houses the equipment that requires its own environment, pieces that belong in a room that means business. The shift in atmosphere when you enter is not incidental. It is the point. Some subs find the change in register more disorienting than anything that happens to them inside it. Mistress Ashley finds that very useful.

The Rain Stall

Tucked into the corner of The Lavender Vault is something you will not find anywhere else. A dedicated, purpose-built shower stall designed specifically for wet play.

The Rain Stall is exactly what it sounds like and exactly what you need it to be. Being invited to The Lavender Vault is a privilege. To be worthy of it, the following is non-negotiable.

Your Presence You arrive clean, appropriately dressed, and smelling pleasant. You are attentive, discreet, honest, and well-mannered. You bring emotional presence, along with the integrity and willing vulnerability that real connection requires. You are not simply showing up to a location. You are entering Mistress Ashley's space, and that means something.

Your Communication Clear, thoughtful communication before a session tells Mistress Ashley everything she needs to know about how you will communicate during one. If your communication in the lead-up to your session is insufficient, unclear, evasive, or disrespectful of her time, the invitation will not be extended. Please disclose any relevant health conditions or physical limitations prior to your meeting.

The Studio Arrive on time, not early, not late. Follow all protocols provided to you upon scheduling without exception. Respect this space as you would respect Mistress Ashley herself. You must be able to drive yourself to and from your session, as rideshare services are not permitted to the studio address under any circumstances.

Failure to observe the rules of The Lavender Vault results in immediate removal from the property and termination of the session without refund.
